Professional Civil Engineer  Hiring Location: Oceanside, CA

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, five [5] years experience and licensed [PE] in California, or able to obtain same in 6 months.

Services as project manager or project engineer with the ability to independently prepare designs and direct civil engineering projects by performing the following duties:

* Serves as designated client contact for work performed by the company * Supervises and monitors client relationship strategies as well as subconsultant relationships and performance on projects * Prepares and monitors project budgets * Responsible for project schedules * Performs field investigations to establish existing conditions and determine constraints and opportunities to the development of land or the design of public works and public agency projects * Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, tests, aerial photographs, soil compositions, survey data, terrain, drainage characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data integral to the planning and the design of various projects * Directs and supervises other engineer's activities, may perform duties of a supervisor for those preparing designs under his/her direction * Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, construction specifications, plans, construction schedules and designs for projects.

*Instructs draftspersons/technicians to reduce designs to working drawings * Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents; uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.

Software Knowledge and Additional Skills Requires:
- Autocad and Land Development Desktop
- Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access,               
  Microsoft Project)
